An empty hour earns nothing. Prolific puts it in front of the players and teams looking for ice, and books it once they've paid.

We list ice that's up for sale
Open hours a rink has put up for sale, or that a team or association can't use, checked before anyone pays.

Players fill it three ways
One group books the whole sheet, two groups split it, or a pickup skate fills it player by player.

We book it once it's paid
Cards are held while an hour fills and charged only when it's on. Then Prolific books the ice through the rink's normal process.
For associations
Building nowMove team ice before it goes empty
Associations hold a season of ice, and some of it always goes unused. We're building simple tools to move it inside the association first. These aren't live yet.
Release
A team that can't use its ice sends it back to the association in a couple of taps.
Reassign
The association offers it to its other teams first, before anyone outside sees it.
Swap
Two teams trade hours that suit them better, with the association approving.
